Drill Site

I've finally managed to actually work some more on the project. It seems like I have to learn Unity or somesuch in order to have a barebone skeleton to work on. 

The drawing itself  is an excavation site. The arch on top is intended to be heatsinks, because the beam drill in the hole produces a lot of heat. 

Such a site is intended as a way to get into a complex that is covered in thick ice. It also provides the players with a place to defend.

What happens when you start to look at uniforms from the past? You get awesome ideas. I was at Konsoll. A minor gathering with some people from the industry holding presentations and useful workshops. On of the guys talked about how a very detailed game about the Napoleonic was would be very niche. And's that is probably true. Never the less, the idea is awesome enough for me to put a spin on it. Which means a mix of various factions and uniform styles, put into a scifi setting, with spaceships, hyper technology and wicked science.
So enjoy a Turkis soldier from  1877 or somesuch.

What is next

RAD

I have not been too active lately, since I've got a girlfriend and holidays and such, but you might as well enjoy one of my older titles, It was inspired by a netyarzone game on a Playstation demo disc. It uses astrolander physics and have a lot of options, some simple graphics and 4 player local coop, deathmatch and racing.
Enjoy rocket arena deathmatch, not affiliated with a Quake mod.

It's made with Game maker, an excellent program that provides you with the tools of the trade and a user friendly interface. If you by any chance like sprites this is the software to go to. It also have a great community and an irc channel, (Internet relay chat)
